Our Wedding

<p>Tanner and Kaitlin met in 2022, after matching on a popular dating app, "Bumble." Their first date was in Tanner's bachelor pad apartment. Kaitlin spent three weeks contemplating if driving to Salina from Wichita to meet up with a dude she met online was a good idea. That is how every murder mystery starts, after all. Luckily for Tanner, his strong sense of humor, persistence, and charm won her over. She agreed to make the trip. Unfortunately, Kaitlin got off of work too late, so their dinner plans had to be canceled. Instead, they stayed up late watching the comedian Theo Von and laughing so hard they couldn't breathe. The best part though, is Tanner was laughing at the jokes, while Kaitlin was laughing at Tanner because of how hard he was wheezing. The two continued to talk every day, visit each other several times a week, take trips, and enjoy life together. They were not worried about titles or blending their lives together. As both of them were focusing on their goals and had no idea where life would take them. Neither wanted to hold each other back from their dreams. Time went on, life happened and they began questioning whether they should stay together, not because they did not love each other - but instead, because they did not know how their lives could blend with the goals they were chasing. They decided to "just be friends" in May of 2023 to avoid a heartbreak. However, their love was too strong, and they were right back together a week later. They decided to continue dating but keep each other a secret to their families and friends. They thought if their jobs and schooling took them separate ways, it would be easier to let go of each other without their families involved. On February 16th, 2024, they were elated to find out they were expecting a baby. Instantly their mindset changed. They promised to stand by each other wherever life took them and changed their goals to prioritize a life together first and foremost. Tanner made the promise to Kaitlin that he would marry her, and she has worn her Grandmother's wedding band ever since. On October 10th, 2024 Lily Kait came into the world and gave Tanner and Kaitlin the greatest blessing of their lives. The two fall more in love every day and can't believe they ever thought they could live this life without each other. On January 11th of 2026, Tanner officially proposed to Kaitlin in the airplane by asking her over the radio if she would "be his wife." Tanner and Kaitlin cherish all they have experienced together. They look forward to a lifetime of love through all of the good times and are thankful that they have each other to lean on through the hard times.</p>
